Police Identify Suspect in Harford Mall Shooting, Two Accessories Charged

The Bel-Air Police Department has identified 35-year-old Wesley Larry Lyons Jr. as the suspect wanted for a shooting that occurred inside Harford Mall’s Harford Bounce Party Place on Sunday, June 2 around 4 pm.

According to investigators, Lyons allegedly shot a 42-year-old man three times during an altercation before fleeing the scene. The victim was flown to a Baltimore trauma center where he remained as of Monday.

Police located and towed a vehicle believed to be connected to Lyons in Edgewood, about 8 miles from the mall. However, Lyons himself remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. A $2,000 reward is offered for information leading to his capture.

Authorities have arrested two women, Lisa Gregg of Edgewood and Lateia Green of Middle River, on charges of accessory to attempted first-degree murder. They are held without bond at the Harford County Detention Center.

Lyons is said to have potential addresses in Edgewood’s Harford Square Drive area where the vehicle was found, as well as in Rosedale, Middle River in Baltimore County, and ties to Delaware.

While the nature of the altercation is unclear, police stated the shooting was an isolated incident involving individuals known to each other.

The Bel-Air Police Department is urging anyone with information on Lyons’ whereabouts to come forward as the search for the allegedly armed and dangerous suspect continues.
