Lewis Laury, a 24-year-old Baltimore City Public Schools teacher, was arrested on Monday following allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a minor. Detectives charged Laury with second-degree rape and third-degree sexual offense.

The arrest came after authorities received information about the alleged inappropriate relationship. Laury is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
