Jury Convicts Fourth Suspect in Israeli Visitor’s Murder

William Holloman, 19, has been found guilty of first-degree murder and related charges in the killing of Efraim Gordon, a 31-year-old Israeli citizen visiting Baltimore for a family wedding. Holloman is the fourth and final suspect convicted in the case.

The trial, which began on Monday, concluded with the jury reaching a verdict after just a few hours of deliberation on Thursday. Gordon’s family expressed relief at the outcome, with his first cousin, Sara Marshall, saying, “Our family is relieved that there’s justice.”

The incident occurred in May 2021 when Gordon was shot during an attempted carjacking outside his relatives’ home on Fords Lane. Prosecutors presented evidence, including surveillance footage, showing Holloman and two accomplices confronting Gordon.

Baltimore City State’s Attorney Ivan Bates stated, “This conviction reaffirms our commitment to holding violent offenders accountable and ensuring the safety of everyone in our community.”

Councilman Isaac “Yitzy” Schleifer, who represents the district where the shooting took place, provided details of the incident, explaining that Gordon was approached by the suspects as he walked from his parked car to his aunt and uncle’s house.

The three co-defendants in the case—William Clinton III, Omarion Anderson, and Rasheed Morris—have previously pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.

Holloman, who was 16 at the time of the crime, faces a potential life sentence. His sentencing is scheduled for December 2. Holloman’s attorney, Roya Hanna, declined to comment on the verdict.
