Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., fired back at prickly political strategist James Carville after he criticized the “too feminine” messaging of the Democratic Party — taking a sharp swipe at men on social media.
Carville argued the Dems had “preachy females” and a message that was “too feminine.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s response Sunday was short — and sharp.
“Maybe he should start a podcast about it,” the progressive lawmaker, who is part of the “Squad” of left-leaning lawmakers, posted on X.
“I hear men are really underrepresented in that space.”
Polling has shown a decrease in Democratic Party support among Black Americans and Hispanic adults — signals that have fueled President Joe Biden’s campaign messaging in battleground states.
