Tal Heinrich to Newsmax: Mideast Terror All Points to ‘Iran’s Axis of Evil’

Iran’s “axis of evil” is funding all the “bloodshed, chaos, and terrorism” in the Middle East, behind its decades-long mantra of “death to Israel,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s spokeswoman Tal Heinrich warned Saturday morning on Newsmax.

“All of these proxies in the region, Iran is responsible for them,” Heinrich told host Tom Basile on “America Right Now.” “They take their marching orders directly from Iran. Iran is funding them.

“Anywhere you look around the region where you see bloodshed, where you see chaos, where you see terrorism – it all goes back to Iran’s axis of evil.”

Amid the ongoing war on Hamas in Gaza, the current heightened retaliatory threat from Iran is merely a continuation of its anti-Israel agenda, Heinrich warned.

“Iran has been threatening and attacking Israel for years through its proxies in the region,” she said. “Oct. 7 with Hamas, which is over 93% funded by Iran, including Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the second largest terrorist organization in Gaza, fully funded by Iran – that was another brutal reminder of that. And on Oct. 8, Hezbollah decided to open another front.

“So we will act. We will do whatever it takes to defend ourselves.”

Iran is threatening a massive retaliation to the airstrike on Damascus, Syria, which killed two Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force generals.

“I cannot speak to the strike in Damascus; all I can do is echo the words of the IDF chief of staff and the IDF spokesperson who said that, according to Israeli intelligence, that building in Damascus, it wasn’t any kind of consul or diplomatic mission,” she said. “It was a military base in this guise that served the Quds Force, which is one of the branches of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.”

Amid the Israel plans to wipe out Hamas terrorist forces in the Egypt-Gaza border crossing city of Rafah, the Quds Force just seized a container ship in the Strait of Hormuz, bringing the Iranian vow to retaliate against Israel to heighten threat alerts and canceling commercial flights in the Middle East.

“So in Rafah, the southern city that borders Egypt in Gaza, you see we still have four operational Hamas battalions,” Heinrich continued. “We’re not going to leave them there untouched, because we have decided as a nation that we’re not going to live next to a terrorist enclave anymore.

“We will not suffer another Oct. 7 attack, nor will we suffer 16 more years of missiles raining on our communities. That’s not an option.

“We will act in rough because it’s a necessity to keep the security of the citizens of Israel.”

Some worldwide, and even the Biden administration, have warned Israel about going into Rafah amid Hamas’ desperate attempt to salvage its final hideout in Gaza, while keeping what had been estimated to be 100 or more remaining Oct. 7 hostages from Israel – many of which are potentially already killed by Hamas.

“Anyone who says we shouldn’t go in there is basically telling us: ‘Lose the war; you can live with another Hamas rule’; because they will regroup, rearm, and attack us again – that’s how it works,” Heinrich concluded.

“One of our ministers said you can’t put out 80% of the fire, leave another 20% and hope for the best. The fire will spread. So we have to operate in Rafah. This is where you know this border city from which much of the terror infrastructure and ammunition has funneled into Gaza over the years.

“We cannot allow this to happen again.”
