Actor and comedian Joe Piscopo told Newsmax on Wednesday that President Joe Biden’s recent gaffes are signs of “dangerous” issues that may cause Democrats to search for a new presidential candidate.
Piscopo, who hosts “Piscopo in the Morning” on New York City radio, told “Newsline” that Biden’s recent verbal slips and apparent memory issues during recent public appearances suggest Democrats may replace him after the first debate with former President Donald Trump.
He said that Biden has been speaking “gibberish” in recent public appearances, adding, “Our heart goes out to him, am I right? You feel bad for him.” He added that “there’s something there,” but Biden’s supporters “are trying to deny it, and it’s dangerous because we are in a very perilous world.”
Piscopo went on to say that Trump “is going to be on top of his game” during the debate with Biden on June 27.
He added that Trump is “going to lay back, he’s going to be measured, and … just let Joe Biden go on.”
“Every time they try to pump up Joe Biden, it just comes out to me as meek,” Piscopo said, adding that he’s “starting to believe all those people” who say Biden will be replaced as the Democratic Party’s nominee.
“That’s why the debate is early,” he said.
