Baltimore, MD (WBFF) — The robbery of a scooter led police to a weapon and repeat offender, according to Baltimore Police.
Trae Littlejohn, 21, was released on home detention during a bond hearing inside Baltimore City District Court, according to court records.
Littlejohn is facing charges in connection with the assault of a man and the robbery of his scooter, as well as weapons violations following his arrest.
According to Baltimore Police, officers spotted a scooter that matched the description of one reported stolen the night before, in north Baltimore.
Baltimore Police said the operator of the scooter took off on York Road when officers attempted to stop it.

The operator was eventually arrested after a brief foot pursuit.
BPD identified the suspect as Trae Littlejohn and said following his arrest, officers seized a loaded handgun with an automatic switch, and a loaded, extended magazine.
Littlejohn appeared by video for his bond hearing on Monday.
According to court records, Littlejohn was on probation at the time of his arrest due to a 2024 conviction involving a carjacking and weapons violation.
Littlejohn is also prohibited from possession of a firearm, according to court documents.
