Gingrich: DNC to Be ‘Olympic Level Political Gymnastics’

Moderate American voters will decide this election, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich wants them to watch the Democratic National Convention very closely.

Usually, a Republican might urge moderates to turn away from Democrat activism, but Gingrich is so confident Republicans are on the right side of the issues in this election, he believes Democrats’ DNC propaganda machine will expose themselves as “hypocrites” to discerning American voters who do not vote blindly by party.

“The Democratic National Convention in Chicago will be worth every American watching – simply as an exercise in detecting hypocrisy,” Gingrich wrote in an editorial Sunday in Fox News.

“You will learn how much more radical they are than anyone you know.

“You will see just how much they are willing to lie to get your vote.

“You will be able to decide for yourself if the Democratic National Convention represents ‘the politics of joy’ – or the same old radical leftwing baloney disguised by the propaganda media.”

The anti-Israel policies will be difficult for Jewish Americans to swallow, particularly as Vice President Kamala Harris skipped a strong voice in battleground Pennsylvania Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro for a long Democrat-stranglehold state of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

“The most interesting political gymnastics will be on Israel and Hamas,” Gingrich wrote. “Having rejected Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who is Jewish and pro-Israel, Harris will have to walk a narrow line.”

Also, the “politics of joy” Democrat narrative will ring hallow for everyday Americans, according to Gingrich.

“Their issueless theme has been captured in recent articles about the so-called “politics of joy,” he wrote. “The great challenge for Vice President Harris and her team is that the ‘politics of joy’ will be completely tone-deaf for many Americans.

“At virtually every level, the practical real-life results of Harris and Walz’s ‘politics of joy’ are angering Americans and killing their joy.

“The Democrats’ reaction will be to develop a series of phony promises and an agenda which bears no resemblance to their past behaviors – or what they actually intend to do if given power.”
