Will Scharf to Newsmax: Hunter Biden Case ‘Tip of the Iceberg’

Will Scharf, an attorney for former President Donald Trump and a candidate for Attorney General in Missouri, told Newsmax on Tuesday that the recent conviction of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, is “just the tip of the iceberg.”

Hunter Biden was convicted on Tuesday on three felony charges related to his purchasing of a firearm during the time period in which he was addicted to and actively using crack cocaine.

“It’s really important to remember that last year, Hunter was willing to plead guilty to these charges provided that at the same time he was immunized from further prosecution for tax evasion, for his foreign dealings with Burisma and Bohai [Leasing] and Ukraine and China,” Scharf said on “Newsline

Biden still faces a federal trial on three felony charges and six misdemeanors over $1.4 million in previously unpaid taxes, which is set to begin in September.

Scharf added, “I think to everybody, this case is really just the tip of the iceberg.”

He speculated that, “The real question remains: will Hunter Biden and the rest of the Biden family ever be held accountable for their vast criminality in terms of this foreign influence peddling operation that Hunter ran for years while Joe Biden was vice president?”
