Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s net worth has increased to up to $30 million despite her claiming she isn’t a millionaire, according to reports.

Omar and her husband Tim Mynett have a net worth between $6 million to $30 million according to their 2025 disclosure, the Washington Free Beacon reported earlier this year.

Disclosures from the end of 2023 showed the pair had ownership stakes that only add to the value of just above $51,000.

Omar has denied that she has had an increase in wealth since being elected to Congress, at one point stating that she was “not a millionaire.”

She has dismissed the allegations as right-wing disinformation campaigns.

“Since getting elected, there has been a coordinated right-wing disinformation campaign claiming all sorts of wild things, including the ridiculous claim I am worth millions of dollars which is categorically false,” Omar said during an interview with Business Insider earlier this year.

Mynett has a firm called Rose Lake Capital, which is valued between $5 million and $25 million, according to disclosures.

Omar also made headlines amid her home state of Minnesota being in the news for alleged fraud regarding seemingly vacant daycares.

Last week, she said she didn’t regret supporting the MEALS Act in 2020, despite it being linked to fraud regarding the “Feeding Our Future” program.
