Two-car crash leaves Baltimore police officer and man injured

A two-car crash left a Baltimore police officer and a 54-year-old man injured on Thursday evening.

On Jan. 8 around 5:08 p.m., officers responded to a departmental crash at the intersection of Mulberry Street and Schroeder Street in the southwestern part of the city.

There, they found a marked patrol vehicle and a citizen vehicle had collided, police said.

Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene, a Baltimore Police Department (BPD) spokesperson confirmed to FOX45 News.

The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment to injuries to both his hand and ankle. The driver of the other vehicle, identified as a 54-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the crash location.
