WASHINGTON (TNND) — A GoFundMe for Jonathan Ross, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer who fatally shot Renee Good, has raised $743,416 as of Thursday.
“After seeing all the media bs about a domestic terrorist getting go fund me,” the organizer of the GoFundMe wrote in the description.
Over 2,500 people have donated.
Earlier this week, Ross fatally shot Good while she was in her car during an immigration crackdown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security said that Ross shot Good because she attempted to run him over with her car.
It was also reported that Ross was injured in the incident and suffered from internal bleeding.
The FBI is currently investigating what happened.
There have been multiple protests in Minneapolis as a result of the immigration crackdown in the state.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said more federal agents will be sent to the state.
“As we uncover more of this criminal activity, we’re going to continue to surge resources to make sure this abuse of government funds and government power no longer continues in Minnesota,” Noem said.
