WASHINGTON (TNND) — U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is expected to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee in March. This will give lawmakers a chance to criticize her leadership of DHS after deadly shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.
The date for the testimony is set for March 3, according to the spokesperson for committee Chairman Chuck Grassley. Each senator on the panel will get 10 minutes to question Noem.
March’s testimony will bring out scrutiny on Noem, the DHS secretary, as calls for Noem’s impeachment grows.
