WASHINGTON (TNND) — It was nicknamed the “Biden Border Crisis,” the effort to take a more humane approach to immigration, that resulted in millions showing up at this country’s borders and, in large part, being allowed to stay.
The issue dominated the 2024 election, with poll after poll showing it was one of the top concerns that propelled President Donald Trump to a second term in the White House.

In a message from Open AI’s Sam Altman, he wrote, “What’s happening with ICE is going too far,” according to The New York Times.

“We should own the issue a border, security and immigration. But they have destroyed that for Republicans, something that got the president elected, they have destroyed it through their incompetence.
Tillis and other Republicans are blaming Trump adviser Stephen Miller and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. who Democrats say must go.
In an interview with CNN on Wednesday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said, “We will commence impeachment proceedings against Noem in the absence of her being fired.
