Two firefighters sustained non-life-threatening injuries after New Hampshire gas explosion

A gas explosion sparked into a larger fire at a commercial building in Nashua, New Hampshire, leaving two firefighters injured.

The explosion took place Monday afternoon at 440 Amherst St., where Greater Nashua Mental Health is located.

Currently, fire crews are working to extinguish the fires as officials asked residents to avoid the area.

The two firefighters were taken to the hospital to treat their injuries. Both have been deemed non-life-threatening.
