WASHINGTON (TNND) — A regular attendee of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota said during an interview with Fox News Digital that members of the church are still being harassed by protesters.
“It says in scripture that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but is against the spirit, the evil spiritual forces of the world,” Caleb Phillips, 21, told Fox News Digital.
Phillips said he has been attending Cities Church since October 2025.
He said when protesters stormed the church last month, it was “traumatic” and many kids were scared because of the disruption.
Anti-ICE protesters stormed Cities Church in Minnesota and accused the pastor of being the acting ICE field office director in the state.
Multiple protests have sprung up in Minnesota due to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents being in the city conducing immigration crackdowns.
The protests only grew after Alex Pretti and Renee Good were killed by ICE agents when they were protesting. The FBI is investigating both incidents.
During the interview, Phillips said anti-ICE protesters racially attacked his girlfriend who is Asian and accused her of “hanging out with Nazis.”
The church was stormed Jan. 18, and Phillips said that the past two Sundays agitators have hacked congregants going into the church.
He said despite everything, he doesn’t hate anyone.
“We’re not going to hate anyone,” he said. “We’re going to love these cities, we’re going to love the people of our church, and we’re going to love those who hate us and pray for those who persecute us.”
