Driver rescued, taken to hospital following car crash in Baltimore County

A driver was rescued from their car early Friday morning in Baltimore County, according to the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company.

On Feb. 6, fire crews were called to a reported vehicle crash with entrapment in the southbound lanes of I-795 between Owings Mills Boulevard and I-695.

The Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company and Baltimore County Fire Department assisted in stabilizing the car, removing the car’s roof and extricating the driver from underneath the dashboard, according to fire officials.

Medics transported the driver to a local hospital for treatment. The victim’s identity and the extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

At this time, the cause of the crash is also unknown.
