Court documents and evidence presented at trial revealed that on several occasions, Leidel sent emails containing false allegations about his ex-wife to get her fired from her job as a special education teacher.
Officials said Leidel sent emails trying to get his ex-wife and their children evicted from their house and repeatedly filed false child protective service claims against his ex-wife.
When his ex-wife had a boyfriend, Leidel filed false claims stating that the boyfriend was abusing children, and then Leidel repeatedly emailed the boyfriend’s supervisors with false claims to get him investigated and fired, authorities reported.
Leidal would harass both the ex-wife and the boyfriend for several years until law enforcement arrested him.
