Baltimore County Animal Services hosts spring rabies vaccination clinics for pets

Baltimore County Animal Services (BCAS) is hosting rabies vaccination clinics this spring to help keep pets safe and protected.

Rabies vaccines are required by law for dogs, cats and ferrets 12 weeks and older, according to BCAS.

It will cost $9 per rabies vaccine, which also includes a microchip and pet license.

Spring Rabies Clinics:

  • Perry Hall: Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Gough Park: 9201 Honeygo Blvd.
  • Essex: Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Fields at Renaissance Park: 99 Stemmers Run Rd.
  • Baldwin: Sunday, May 3 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at BCAS: 13800 Manor Rd.
  • Dundalk: Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Chesterwood Park: 2200 Chesterwood Rd.
  • Halethorpe: Wednesday, May 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Southwest Area Park: 4215 Baltimore St. (directly behind the light rail station)
  • Rosedale: Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Rosedale Park: 1246 Kendrick Rd.
  • Reisterstown: Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Hannah More Park: 12035 Reisterstown Rd.

BCAS reminds residents when visiting a clinic to ensure dogs are on their leash and cats and ferrets are in carriers. Residents should also bring any previous vaccination records.

No pre-registration or proof of residence is required.
