Police investigate 15-year-old shot in southwest Baltimore

Detectives are investigating after a 15-year-old boy walked-in to an area hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds on Tuesday night, said authorities.

On June 30 at approximately 8:38 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Vine Street in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.

Officers arrived on scene and located evidence of a shooting.

A short time later, officers received noticed of a gunshot victim seeking treatment at an area hospital. Once at the hospital, officers observed a 15-year-old boy suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds being treated.

Southwest District Shooting Detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2488.
