Well, this is interesting. It turns out Madeleine Carlisle, daughter of former late-night host Stephen Colbert, worked for CBS News and 60 Minutes. Carlisle resigned recently, amid an ongoing staff revolt over the leadership of Bari Weiss.

Stephen Colbert’s daughter has resigned from “60 Minutes,” becoming the latest behind-the-scenes producer to leave the venerable newsmagazine as it grapples with a talent exodus, a reportedly unaired Jeffrey Epstein investigation and mounting scrutiny of its future ownership.
Madeleine Carlisle, a well-regarded associate producer who joined “60 Minutes” after reporting stints at Time and The Atlantic, resigned from the broadcast in recent days, according to Status.

Carlisle’s exit comes as multiple producers have left the program since the May defenestrations of veterans on the team, according to Status. The ouster of journos including correspondents Sharyn Alfonsi and Cecilia Vega, along with executive producer Tanya Simon and executive editor Draggan Mihailovich, has since been come to be called “Black Thursday” by remaining staffers.
It is clear that the partisans and propagandists are being purged from CBS and 60 Minutes, and that’s a good thing.

Carlisle left just weeks after her father’s show was taken off the air. CBS said the cancellation was a financial decision, noting the program lost tens of millions of dollars every year.

This is the most important question. Because no one did. The incestuous nature of the media, entertainment, and even politics creates the left-wing propaganda outlet that CBS News has become. And then they wonder why Bari Weiss is coming in and cleaning house.
Trust in media is at all-time lows, and stuff like this doesn’t help.
