EDGEWOOD, Md. (WBFF) — A 17-year-old has been arrested for a deadly double shooting in Edgewood from earlier this year.
A’maree Curbeam, 17, is now facing charges.
On April 3 around 11:15 p.m., officers were called to the area of Grempler Way and Brookside Drive in Edgewood for a reported shooting.
A 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene while a 22-year-old man was transported to the hospital in serious condition, authorities said.
Deputies identified the victim as Bryan Burrows Jr., of Edgewood.
The suspect and victims knew each other, according to officials.
Curbeam was wanted for first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault and related handgun charges.
On August 25, he was located at a home in Baltimore and taken into custody.
After Curbeam’s arrest, authorities executed a search warrant at the home he was arrested at, and recovered a gun. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether that gun was connected to the shooting or any other criminal activity.
Curbeam is currently being held without bond at the Harford County Detention center.
