Elkridge Man in Critical Condition After Targeted Shooting, Police Say

ELKRIDGE, Md. — A man is fighting for his life after being shot inside his Elkridge home Tuesday night, according to Howard County police.

Authorities say officers responded just after 9 p.m. to the 7400 block of Wild Honey Way, where at least two suspects approached the home from outside and opened fire, striking the victim inside.

The man was rushed to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Investigators believe the attack may have been targeted, though no suspect descriptions have been released at this time.
