SHOCKING! Father Arrested for Son’s Death and Injuries to 3 Others, to Appear in Court

BALTIMORE – A Baltimore County father was arrested on Sunday and charged with the fatal shooting of his son and injuring two others. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

The incident occurred on Christmas Eve when Baltimore County police responded to a domestic-related shooting at a home in Rosedale. Officers arrived to find a woman and two minors with gunshot wounds. Tragically, a 4-year-old boy, identified as Jacobi Jones, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The boy’s father, 30-year-old Mark Jones, was also found with self-inflicted gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Mark Jones was arrested on Sunday, December 29, and is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. He is scheduled for a court appearance in Towson District Court at 1 p.m. on Monday.
