Baltimore police investigate deadly double shooting in Gay Street neighborhood

A man is dead and another is critically injured following a double shooting in Baltimore’s Gay Street neighborhood on Friday night, police said.

On Dec. 26 around 8:50 p.m., authorities said Central District officers responded to the 1400 block of East Madison Street for a reported shooting.

There, officers found a 57-year-old man and a 34-year-old man both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to the hospital, where the 34-year-old victim was pronounced dead. The 57-year-old victim is currently in critical, but stable condition, according to police.

The shooting happened outside the Waters Towers apartment building, a Baltimore Police Department (BPD) spokesperson confirmed to FOX45 News.
