12 people taken to hospital after crash involving MTA bus

BALTIMORE, MD (WBFF) — 12 people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving an MTA bus and a work van on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Baltimore City Fire Department (BCFD), emergency medical services responded to a crash in the 1100 block of West Baltimore Street around 1 p.m. on June 3.

Upon arrival, officials found a crash involving an MTA bus and a work van.

Authorities said that due to the number of patients, additional resources were requested to come to the scene, including a total of seven medic units.

In total, 12 people were taken to nearby hospitals with injuries.

BCFD said that two people also involved in the crash were assisted at the scene after refusing transportation to the hospital.
