CALVERT COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Two adults were killed, and a third person was critically injured after a tree fell on their vehicle while they were driving in Calvert County, authorities said.
The crash happened on Solomons Island Road (Route 2) near Aspen Woods Drive in Sunderland, according to Kristen Leitch, a spokeswoman for the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.

Leitch said the incident was reported around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday.
No additional details about the victims have been released as of yet.
