2 disorderly fans arrested at Northwest Stadium during international soccer match

Two men were arrested following multiple incidents of disorderly conduct during Sunday’s international soccer match at Northwest Stadium in Maryland.

The Prince George’s County Police Department confirmed with 7News that the incidents happened between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. inside the stadium on March 29.

Officers said they took two adult men into custody, and no injuries were reported.

Authorities did not specify what the incidents were, but said there was an active and ongoing investigation.

The disturbances occurred during a sold-out “Road to 26” match between France and Colombia.

According to event officials, the game drew a crowd of 60,734 spectators, making it the highest-attended international friendly in the venue’s history.
