WASHINGTON (7News) — Prince George’s County police shot and killed one of three dogs after two women were attacked by them Tuesday morning near Kenilworth Avenue and Decatur Street, police told 7News Maryland Bureau Chief Brad Bell.
Officers were called at about 8:30 a.m. to the intersection, where they spoke with a woman who had just been attacked by three dogs. She suffered non-life threatening bite wounds and was treated at the scene.
A second call came in nearby, where another woman was also attacked by the same three dogs. She was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening bite wounds, police said.

Citizens later alerted officers that the dogs were running in the area. A patrol officer then located the three dogs actively attacking a fourth dog, police said.
As the officer approached to check on the condition of the fourth dog, the three dogs came back around the corner of a house where they had run.
