An investigation is underway after a crash caused a Metro bus to slam into a restaurant in Northwest D.C., leaving at least three people hurt on Saturday morning.

The crash happened on April 4 near 7th Street and Q Street, NW, where officials said the bus was hit and then careened into a building, ending up partially inside the AMBAR Restaurant, which was unoccupied at the time.

Metro Transit Police said three people, including the bus driver, got minor injuries as a result of the crash.

Earlier, DC Fire and EMS Department crews said they evaluated four people at the scene, secured utilities, and searched the structure. A collapse team also assessed the building’s structural stability.
