
ABERDEEN Md. (WBFF) — A 63-year-old Aberdeen man was killed Saturday night after being struck by a car while crossing Beards Hill Road, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.
Police said the fatal pedestrian crash happened Saturday, March 14, at about 8:05 p.m. in the 900 block of Beards Hill Road.
Officers who responded to the vehicle-pedestrian accident determined a gray Genesis G70 was traveling along Beards Hill Road when it struck Rudolph Risby Jr., 63, of Aberdeen, who was crossing the roadway in a non-signalized location.
Aberdeen EMS responded and provided medical assistance, but Risby died from his injuries, police said.

The Aberdeen Police Traffic Safety Unit, assisted by the Maryland State Police Crash Reconstruction Team, responded to the scene and conducted a detailed investigation.
The crash remains under investigation.
