About 14 elementary school students sent to hospital after pepper spray used on bus

Approximately 14 elementary school students were sent to the hospital Wednesday morning, after pepper spray was used on a school bus en route to Vincent Farm Elementary School.

According to the Baltimore County Police Department, around 9:35 a.m. on March 11, officers were sent to the 6000 block of Ebenezer Road for a report of potential pepper spray exposure.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a student had used the pepper spray on the bus while it was traveling to the elementary school.

About 14 students were transported to an area hospital as a precautionary measure due to the effects of the pepper spray.

Baltimore County Police said that the pepper spray was used accidentally, and they believe that a student found the spray before bringing it onto the bus.
