MARYLAND (WBFF) — An Annapolis woman has been arrested following an alleged road rage incident that occurred in early December, according to the Maryland State Police.
On December 31, Kaila Crews, 29, was arrested and charged with first and second-degree assault and the use of a firearm in a felony crime, officials reported.
Authorities responded to the incident, which occurred on December 18, 2025, on the westbound U.S. Route 50 in the area of I-97.
The victim reported that the suspect brandished a crowbar and then a firearm during the road rage incident.

Police noted that the victim did not sustain any injuries.
The Maryland State Police Highway Gun Crime Initiative conducted an investigation and identified Crews as the suspect.
Authorities arrested Crews near her residence and, when they executed a search warrant, they discovered a loaded firearm in a backpack on the front passenger seat of her vehicle.
She was then transported to the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
