Linthicum (WBFF) — A suspect is being sought after an armed robbery at a Dash In convenience store in Linthicum early Friday morning, during which a gun was discharged, Anne Arundel County police said.
Officers responded around 3 a.m. on July 17 to the Dash In at 724 Nursery Road for a reported armed robbery.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the store and asked for cigarettes before pulling out a revolver and demanding cash.
Police said the store clerk was unable to open the cash register. The suspect then struck the register with the revolver, causing a round to discharge.
No injuries were reported.

The suspect fled the store on foot with stolen merchandise before officers arrived.
Police searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Regional Crimes Unit is investigating the robbery.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 40 and 50 years old who was wearing a blue flat-brimmed hat, a black shirt, a long white sleeve on his right arm and long black shorts.
