At least three juveniles have been arrested following disturbances inside White Marsh Mall on Saturday evening, police said.

Around 5 p.m. on March 7, Baltimore County police officers were called to the mall located at 8200 Perry Hall Blvd. for reports of a large group of juveniles creating disturbances.

Once on scene, police worked to disperse the crowd and “address the situation,” according to authorities.

Currently, at least three juveniles have been arrested.

At this time, there is an increased police presence near the mall while police continue to manage the situation, according to officials.

County Councilman David Marks posted on Facebook, saying the police department became aware of plans for a “meet-up” that might bring a large crowd of juveniles to the mall. He said at 7 p.m. he was told “there was no danger and crowds were being dispersed.”

Marks said he asked the mall and the White Marsh precinct to discuss safety plans at the next Police Community Relations Council meeting, which is set for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Perry Hall Family Worship Center.

The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company said in a Facebook post that two of its ambulances responded to the mall for two injured people related to this incident. It’s currently unclear the ages of the injured people, how they were injured and the extent of their injuries.
