
BALTIMORE, MD (WBFF) — The aunt of Tristan King, a 9-year-old boy who was missing for nearly six months, has been arrested and confessed to assisting him in eluding officials.
Denise Day, 60, was arrested on March 25 around 7:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Chart Avenue.
Authorities said that after her arrest, Day was interviewed by the Missing Persons Unit, where she confessed to harboring King and assisting him in eluding officials for the time he was missing.
King had been missing since September 24, 2025, and was found at a home in the Curtis Bay area on March 13, 2026, following a tip that was submitted to the Baltimore Police Department.
He was taken to a hospital to receive medical and psychological evaluations.

Day was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, and is facing charges including Harbor/Abducted Child under 12, and Abduction of a child under 16 by a relative.
