Baltimore County man arrested in connection with Easter morning Federal Hill homicide

A Baltimore County man has been charged in connection with a deadly shooting in Federal Hill on Easter morning, the Baltimore Police Department announced Wednesday.

27-year-old Travion Lemon was arrested after allegedly shooting and killing 40-year-old Brandon Long Sr. last weekend.

On April 5, around 2:40 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Key Highway for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found Long Sr. unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medics responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives then assumed control of the investigation.

Lemon was arrested on April 14 and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
