Baltimore County police charge 2 men with murder in Randallstown shooting, carjacking

Two men have been arrested on first-degree murder and other charges in connection with a July shooting and attempted carjacking in Randallstown, police said.

Baltimore County Police charged 19-year-old Cordell Jefferson and 20-year-old Garrin Davis in connection with the shooting.

Police said the shooting happened around 5:20 p.m. on July 20 near Downey Dale Drive and Church Lane.

Investigators said the victim was sitting in his vehicle on Church Lane when two suspects approached, got inside and tried to pull him out.

The victim was shot during a struggle and taken to a hospital with an injury that appeared to be non-life-threatening.

Jefferson and Davis face multiple charges, including first-degree murder and armed carjacking, police said.

Both are being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
