BALTIMORE (WBFF) — In Northeast Baltimore, tensions are high following a series of violent incidents, including a recent shooting on Rosilie Ave.
Police reported that a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times near Harford Rd. just after midnight on Sunday and died at the scene.
The shooter remains at large. This incident occurred less than 24 hours after a quadruple shooting in Carrollton Ridge, where two people were killed and two others critically injured. The suspects in this case are also still on the loose.
The city is currently investigating four separate homicides in the first week of December, including a shooting on Dec. 3 on Belair Rd. According to a witness, a gray Toyota Solara was seen leaving the scene after the shooting.

Despite these incidents, city officials, including the mayor, have noted a reduction in overall violence, with the lowest numbers recorded through November.
However, in November, a triple shooting in West Baltimore left one man dead and two others injured, and two people were found dead in a car after it crashed into a bus the day before Thanksgiving; the two had been shot multiple times.
That should’ve capped off a violent weekend with at least seven shootings in 48 hours, three of them fatal.
Residents express frustration with city leadership, feeling that more needs to be done to address the ongoing violence.

“There’s a lot of progress that needs to be made,” one resident said.
Another added, “Can I be truthful about the city leaders? They suck. All ya’ll want is money and don’t want to do what ya’ll need to do.”
Meanwhile, Baltimore Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred around 10:30 Sunday morning in East Baltimore.
