Baltimore police forensics team collects evidence at two crime scenes near Douglass Homes

The Baltimore Police Department’s forensics investigators collected evidence at two different crime scenes near the Douglass Homes affordable housing community on Monday.

They showed up to assist with police activity on the property of Johns Hopkins Hospital in the 1800 block of Orleans Street.

Then, they went to a small crime scene near the 200 block of Beale Court.

The crime scene centered around what appeared to be three splotches of blood, which an investigator appeared to take a sample of.
