(WBFF) — A Baltimore police officer was taken to Shock Trauma after being hit while investigating a separate incident, police said.
Officers were investigating an armed person call in the 800 block of West Lombard Street around 12:46 a.m. when one was struck by a vehicle.

That officer also discharged his weapon at the time he was struck, though a reason was not provided.
The officer was taken to Shock Trauma with what was described as a leg injury.
No arrests have been made in this incident. An investigation remains ongoing.
