BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore police are investigating two separate shootings that left teenagers injured, as concerns continue over the ongoing youth gun violence in the area.
In northeast Baltimore, a 16-year-old boy was shot on Furley Avenue at Mannasota Avenue.
Tanesha Clark said she was inside her home when the gunfire erupted Friday afternoon. “I was in the house and I heard two gunshots,” Clark said.

Clark’s doorbell camera captured activity around the time of the shooting, showing two boys, including one who appeared to be hurt. Clark described what she saw on the live feed: “Yes, so if you look at the live feed, they were coming down this side of the block, and then I saw two gentlemen this way, and that’s when I heard like, oh bro, you got hit, and then they kind of stumbled down this way on the block. But I can’t… It didn’t record it because it wasn’t in proximity to the actual door camera.”
Detectives at the scene verified that no images were recorded that could have helped the investigation.
Police responded to the scene at about 4:16 p.m. Officers found the boy on the ground with a leg wound, and detectives were working to determine what happened. The victim was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Just over an hour later, police responded to another shooting on North Potomac Street near East Biddle Street.
Officers found a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital and were listed in stable condition.

Residents in the area expressed frustration and fear about the violence involving juveniles. One resident, identified as Judy, said, “It’s sad when you talk about children and guns because I have grandkids, yes it’s real sad. You know and we got to worry about our safety for our children so yeah it’s kind of sad like it’s it makes you angry because it’s like everybody wants to get in and say things about it but nobody’s doing nothing about it.” She added, “I mean we talk about it every day but there’s nothing getting done.”
Back on Furley Avenue, Clark said the shooting hits close to home. “It’s heartbreaking actually, disappointment, sadness, fear. We have a 12 year old daughter and the first thing that I thought was like she could be out front riding a hoverboard, which she typically does after school. She just wasn’t here. Um, It’s a scary thought that she could have been outside in broad daylight when the incident happened,” she said.
The shootings in Baltimore City came after two other teens were shot in Baltimore County the day before.
Baltimore County police said two males, 16 and 19 years old, were hospitalized after a shooting Thursday night in Owings Mills. Police described it as an isolated incident between known individuals but said a motive had not been identified.
According to the department, responding officers found both teens with multiple gunshot wounds outside in a townhome community on Simonds Drive.
Medics transported both teens to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. In an update Friday, the department upgraded their condition to serious.
