Three months after being indicted on nine state sex trafficking felonies in Baltimore County, Baltimore rapper Poppa Fetti was indicted again Monday — this time by a federal grand jury on child sex trafficking charges.

Deion “Poppa Fetti” Philip, 33, is charged with two counts of sex trafficking of a child and one count of transporting a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland. Prosecutors allege Philip trafficked two minor victims for commercial sex, including one victim for several weeks in 2025 and another from October to November 2025.

If convicted, Philip faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and up to life in federal prison on each sex trafficking count. Federal officials said that the charges are part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating child sexual exploitation.

The federal indictment follows a November 2025 indictment in Baltimore County Circuit Court, where Philip was charged with nine state felony counts after authorities recovered two missing girls during a joint investigation involving Maryland State Police, Baltimore County Police and federal agents.
