“You walk every place and you either see poverty or homelessness,” one resident said.

A FOX45 investigation recently revealed the city paid $26 million in tax dollars over the past three years to 23 different nonprofits who have not complied with state laws governing nonprofits.
“The resources, I think, are not allocated in the areas where they should maybe because of greed,” one west Baltimore resident said.
Some of these non-compliant organizations have failed to file required financial reports with the state.
“If they can’t comply with the law what do they get the money for. It’s a waste of money to be honest,” a resident questioned.
