PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Police responded to a barricade situation in Seat Pleasant involving a man inside a home, according to authorities.
The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said officers are assisting Seat Pleasant Police in the 6100 block of Seat Pleasant Drive, where they are trying to communicate with a man inside a single-family home.
PGPD officials said an adult family member is also inside the home.
Authorities described the situation as isolated, with no reported injuries at this time.
Earlier, residents in the area were advised to remain indoors and avoid the scene. Road closures remain in place as officers continue their response.
