BEL AIR, Md. (WBFF) — The Bel Air Police Department is offering a $2,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest in a recent guitar theft, the department announced Wednesday.
On Feb. 3, around 8:20 p.m., the four pictured individuals entered Music Land, located at 200 Gateway Drive in Bel Air, and stole a 1947 Martin D-28 acoustic guitar.
The guitar is valued at approximately $15,000.
It has distinctive cracking on the back from prior refinishing, along with a unique serial number — 101862 — that can help confirm ownership if it is recovered.
Help us get this guitar back and hold these people accountable!” the department said in a Facebook post.
Anyone who recognizes the individuals, has information about the theft, or has knowledge of the whereabouts, sale or attempted sale of the guitar is asked to contact Officer K. Martin with the Bel Air Police Department at 410-638-4500 or by email at kmartin@belairmd.org.
