
Baltimore, MD (WBFF) — Three months after a Digital Harbor High School student was fatally shot, Baltimore Police announced the arrest of a juvenile in the case.
Ty’Onna Pierce, 15, was fatally shot in the 2100 block of Druid Hill Avenue in west Baltimore back on February 15.
According to Baltimore Police, officers were called to a home on the block after reports of a shooting and found the juvenile with at least one gunshot wound.
The juvenile was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Baltimore Police announced Monday a 15-year-old male had been arrested and charged with first degree murder.

According to the Department, the juvenile surrendered himself to authorities at Juvenile booking on May 23, 2026, several days after homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant.
FOX45 News asked the Department about the identity of the juvenile, if he’s ever been under the supervision of the Department of Juvenile Services, and what’s believed to have led up to the fatal shooting.
A spokesperson wrote in part,
“We do not and have not released the identities of juveniles charged in crimes. The suspect has no prior criminal record.”

The spokesperson added the Department does not anticipate making any additional arrests in the case.
