BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) — Instead of staying up until the clock strikes midnight, children and their families gathered at the Port Discovery Children’s Museum in Baltimore Wednesday to ring in the new year at noon.
When the clock struck 12 p.m., FOX45 News captured the moment balloons fell down from the ceiling and landed on top of the crowd.

Families took photos in front of the New Year’s Eve backdrop and made their own confetti cannon and number templates.
A Wish Tree was donned with New Year’s resolutions.
This year, the museum also offered a sensory friendly countdown.
