BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A Powerball ticket sold at a 7-Eleven in College Park is worth $1 million after matching the first five numbers in Saturday night’s drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The winning ticket, purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 8905 Rhode Island Ave. in College Park, matched the first five numbers — 6, 17, 27, 48 and 50 — but missed the Powerball number, 5, falling one number short of the jackpot.
Another Maryland ticket won $50,000 after matching four of the first five numbers plus the Powerball number. That ticket was sold at Max Liquors, 736 Frederick Road in Catonsville.
In total, 30,658 Maryland Lottery players won prizes in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, with winnings ranging from $4 to the jackpot. Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes.

The College Park win marks the second consecutive Powerball drawing to produce a $1 million-winning ticket in Maryland. A $1 million ticket was also sold for the July 29 drawing at a Royal Farms in Odenton.
Because no one matched all six numbers Saturday night, the Powerball jackpot has grown to an estimated $748 million annuity, with a cash option of $325.1 million, for Monday night’s drawing.
The Powerball jackpot was last won on May 2. Since then, Maryland players have claimed more than $6 million in Powerball prizes, including two $1 million winners, a $100,000 prize in Edgewood and 13 $50,000-winning tickets sold across the state.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets cost $2.
