D.C. man arrested in Severn after drugs, gun found during traffic stop

A traffic stop on Monday led to the arrest of a D.C. man after police found a loaded handgun and drugs in his vehicle, said officials.

At about 5:55 p.m., on June 1, officers conducted a traffic stop on a gold-colored Buick in the 1100 block of Reese Road in Severn, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Officers recovered a loaded 9mm Glock handgun with an obliterated serial number, and 11 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

Officers also seized suspected Fentanyl and MDMA.

The driver, Terrell Da’Marzia Branham, 32, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged.
